It's interesting to note how the House Republicans continue to praise Monica Goodling for her testimony even as she admits to repeated criminal acts (namely, using partisan affiliation as a criteria for hiring career employees).Yes, it is nice in the wake of hearing of such blatant ethical lapses and potential crimes (Ones she even admits to.), they just smile and say good job. If anything, isn't this an indictment of hiring all these people out of Liberty University. But...have the learned even the errors of how the CPA was birthed. Nope.
They have been given their response, and they had someone print it up for them. And they intend to stick to the script.
A victory for democracy.
