On this Ron Paul guy.

I'm kind of looking forward to Ron Paul being the "what's that idiot's name, the enviro Green Party guy who lost us the election twice, oh yeah, Ralph Traitor Nader" of the Republican party. More from Markos.

It is interesting to look more closely at Paul. Like McCain, he gets a weird pass from some democrats. He is against the war. He is also against every social program, foreign policy, most all of the national government, and so on. But the war thing seems to catch some people first and drown out the rest.

If you are in or around IA, you've seen the social conservative ads he is running, about the value of Life, and our God given rights. He is pushing the buttons like the rest of the good little party members.


PZ Myers also notes his own lack of liking of the Paulster. So add opposition to teaching evolution to the list of his negatives.


So, please, let us be spared the BS on how great he is and how dems and libs need to embrace him.
